Ari Edirne(tenore)
He was born in İstanbul, Turkey.He started to sing in chorus during his childhood.He studied in İstanbul University State Conservatory with mezzosoprano Melek Çeliktaş.He took private courses from prof. Jirayir Arslan(solfege)and Bariton Licinio Montefusco(singing).
In 1998 he performed “tenor” role in the theatrical work of art named “Maria Callas” of Terence Mc Nally in Kenter Theater (İstanbul) and played several cities of Anatolia.
In 1999 he participated actively in Leyla Gencer voice seminar in İstanbul.
In 2000 he won the first prices in Siemens Opera Competition (İstanbul) and in the voice competition arranged by Lions Clubs (Istanbul).
He acted as Pedrillo sharing the stage with soprano Eva Lind in Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail opera within the scope of International Bosphorus Festival.
He participated actively in Katia Ricciarelli voice seminar(İstanbul) arranged by Zehra Yıldız Art Foundation and after the seminar he completed Academia Lirica Internationale courses in Parma for which he won scholarship.Same year he started to work in İstanbul State Opera.
In 2001 he participated actively in the master classes of Mozarteum Academy in Saltzburg.He worked with Elio Battaglia(interpretation),Marjana Lipovsek(singing),Richard Miller(singing) and performed academy concerts.
In 2002 he sang in “Cinema Italiano” concert with İstanbul State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Luis Bacalov.
In 2003 he acted as Vladimir Igorovich in Knjas Igor at The International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival in Antalya.
