6. Productions Search
|
|||||||||||
Access by the principal intern menu. Productions research gives you the possibility to choose between two options that can be used singulary or combined: a) Title search: lists all productions
of this title present in the database (past and future);
This type of search permits agencies and artists to have a panoramic view of productions all over the world, and to find out the availability of an artist: you can access detailed information about roles not yet cast and thus use the opportunity to contact new theatres. Theatres can monitor national-level productions to avoid overlap or duplication, and can nominate themselves for co-productions at an international level. This feature can also be used to assemble the most diverse cast possible, using all available artists who have sung roles difficult to cast (see 7. virtual company for this topic). |

7. Virtual company and MultiMailer
|
|||||||||||
This programme allows the user to verify,
in relation to the selected title, the experience and availability of
all artists for various roles in the opera. The first steps can be accessed
even by non subscribers:
After this choice, the virtual company shows a list of the opera roles corresponding to three figures: the first on right-hand side (column: Production) shows the number of singers listed who have performed the selected role in a production included in the database; the central figure (column: Availability) shows how many of the singers from these productions are available during the chosen period; the third figure (in brackets. column: Repertoire) shows the number of singers who have this role in their repertoire. When you click on one of these numbers, you will access a list of singers grouped according to their experience in the role. Singers who have never performed roles in their repertoire onstage will be signalled by a 0 (zero):
The singer's name links to his card, on which it is possible to send him an E-mail or an SMS message to his mobile phone; the indication "agency" links to the relevant card (agency representing the artist ? daily agenda of artist's engagments); the availability indication links to the daily engagments of the artist. When you select one or more names for every role, they will appear corresponding to the roles on the principal screen. MultiMailer function |
