The information provided by the subscriber in the different sections will be registered in the database and crossed-processed by OperaManager.com programmes according to the users' requests, in to give them helpful information about their profession. Use of the programme is quite simple and is assisted at every step by the interaction with the database. Questions may be asked by entering a keyword of at least four characters, after which the database will present a list of findings

The query field of the database can be activated by clicking on which appears at the border of the text field still to be compiled.

If you are unable to find information, please request it using the proper field.

5. Search by category

The search function by category can be partially utilized even if you have not yet registered. The results, which appear after entry of a keyword, link to the relevant cards and sections attached to them (see paragraph 3. 6. Productions Search

Access by the principal intern menu. Productions research gives you the possibility to choose between two options that can be used singulary or combined:

a) Title search: lists all productions of this title present in the database (past and future);
b) Period search: lists all productions which have been realized or will be realized during this period;
c) Combined search of title and period: lists all productions of this title which have been realized or will be realized during the selected period.

To try the production search functions on OperaManager.com: go to >> Productions search

This type of search permits agencies and artists to have a panoramic view of productions all over the world, and to find out the availability of an artist: you can access detailed information about roles not yet cast and thus use the opportunity to contact new theatres. Theatres can monitor national-level productions to avoid overlap or duplication, and can nominate themselves for co-productions at an international level. This feature can also be used to assemble the most diverse cast possible, using all available artists who have sung roles difficult to cast (see 7. virtual company for this topic).

7. Virtual company and MultiMailer

This programme allows the user to verify, in relation to the selected title, the experience and availability of all artists for various roles in the opera. The first steps can be accessed even by non subscribers:
a) Theatre choice, opera title and period;
b) Selection of the artist’s representation information.

Try the virtual company functions of OperaManager.com: go to >> Virtual company

After this choice, the virtual company shows a list of the opera roles corresponding to three figures: the first on right-hand side (column: Production) shows the number of singers listed who have performed the selected role in a production included in the database; the central figure (column: Availability) shows how many of the singers from these productions are available during the chosen period; the third figure (in brackets. column: Repertoire) shows the number of singers who have this role in their repertoire. When you click on one of these numbers, you will access a list of singers grouped according to their experience in the role. Singers who have never performed roles in their repertoire onstage will be signalled by a 0 (zero):

The singer's name links to his card, on which it is possible to send him an E-mail or an SMS message to his mobile phone; the indication "agency" links to the relevant card (agency representing the artist ? daily agenda of artist's engagments); the availability indication links to the daily engagments of the artist. When you select one or more names for every role, they will appear corresponding to the roles on the principal screen.

MultiMailer function
Function of the virtual company reserved to the appointed general manager or artistic director of the selected theatre: once the virtual cast has been completed, the director can send a list of available roles in this opera to agents; or, if represented artists are not found, directly to singers, simply by pressing the MultiMailer button and confirming the sending. Every addressee receives a personal message; the sender receives a report of all sent messages.
