Objective:
To form a professional career inside the US Opera by enhancing my vocal and musical qualities to improve my performances each time.
Chronology
I was born in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico on July 13, 1971.
In 1990 I began my musical career by attending the Diocesan School of Sacred Music In Aguascalientes, Mexico. My main concern was the theory of music, solfeggio, choral sing and imposting . In 1992 I became a member of the “Coro Aguascalientes” which was the most recognized chorus association at that time. I interpreted music of composers such as Mozart, Haendel, Schubert and Bernal Jimenez among others.
In 1993 I researched and interpreted antique traditional music of Mexico. I had the honor of performing in some of the best Mexican theaters such as Teatro Degollado in Guadalajara, Teatro Juarez in Guanajuato, Teatro de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and the Mexican Embassy in Belize.
In 1995 I funded the choral group “Cantica Vitae” as an effort to rescue and diffuse the European choral music “A Capella” from the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries. I continued performing with this music through out the Mexican Republic until the year 2000.
In 2000 I studied with International Soprano star Ninon Lima until 2004. In addition I also studied with Jorge Lopez Yanez with whom I performed in the “Rigoletto” Opera interpreting the role of Duque de Mantua and Borsa.
In 2001 I interpreted the role of Gustavo, the main tenor role of the “Los Gavilanes” zarzuela under the artistic direction of Ninon Lima. In September of the same I interpreted Normanno, from the Opera “Lucia de Lammermoor” under the direction of the master director Marco Balderi with whom I also interpreted the role of Edgardo of the same opera.
In 2002 I interpreted the role of Rinuccio of the Opera “Gianni Schicchi” of Giacomo Puccini under the direction of Marco Balderi.
In 2003 I interpreted the role of B.F. Pinkerton of the Opera “Madama Buterflly” of Puccini under the direction of Enrique Barrios.
In 2004 I portrayed Nemorino of the Opera “Elisir d’amore” of Gaetano Donizetti and Conde de Almaviva of the “El Barbero de Sevilla” Opera of Rossini. Consequently, from 2004-2005 I interpreted choral masterpieces such as “Requiem” of Verdi and the “Magnificat” of Bach.
Currently, I am a member of the young singers program of the Opera of Tijuana.
