CARMEN:"As Carmens ill fated lover Don Jose Gari Glaysher took the role by the throat and proceeded to bring a real dramatic power to every element of his performance. Indeed the undoubted impact of the final death scene owed much to the anguish he displayed...his tenor voice is eloquent and capable of much greater things." Roy Atterbury(TIMES)
Gari's first step into grand opera was as Cavaradossi in Tosca, followed by Don Jose in (Carmen), Turiddu (Cav), Carnio (Pag), Rodolfo (Boheme) Alfredo (Trav) and Radames (Aida) to his repertoire.
